This is a litter of super pups who are ready to save the day—just like Dog Man!

This litter is named after the Dog Man books, and are the pups to sweet Kia Momma (picture included)! These pups were born on 1/30/25 while in foster care and are all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Zuzu Kia is currently 6 weeks old, and weighs 10 pounds (as of 3/12/25). Their momma weighs 40 pounds fully grown and is a Husky mix.

Her foster shares: "Zuzu is the typical puppy package- play hard, sleep hard, find food and treats, repeat cycle! She is curious and loves exploring with her nose and mouth. She enjoys wrestling with her littermates and chasing mama’s tail. She is one of the more confident of the group and when she sets her mind to something, she goes all in. She is working hard to learn puppy manners, which include keeping four on the floor for meals, treats and attention. Zuzu would thrive in a home in which someone is home more often than not and another calm, older dog to show her the ropes. To set her up for success, she needs someone who understands the work it takes to raise a balanced and happy puppy, and who is committed to ongoing positive-based training so she can reach her full potential as a super-dog!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
