ZUZU's Story
Zuzu came to the shelter as a stray on 9/13/25 and has blossomed into a confident, playful, and affectionate dog in foster care. She is house-trained, crate-trained, sleeps in bed, and knows several tricks including sit, paw, sit pretty, and holding a paw up. Zuzu plays well with other dogs and enjoys interactive time with people. While her first foster noted some nipping around men, she has since gained confidence and is no longer showing signs of the fear or anxiety she initially displayed in the shelter (though no men are in the home). Zuzu would thrive in a home where she can continue building her confidence, receive consistent love and attention, and enjoy playful interactions with her people and canine friends.
