Zuma's Story
💕 Meet Zuma 💕

Now it’s finally HER turn to be cared for.

For the past several weeks, Zuma has been doing what moms do best — giving everything she has to her babies. She has been an absolutely amazing mother to her puppies, patiently teaching them manners, boundaries, confidence, and how to simply “be dogs.” It’s honestly incredible to watch. Sometimes all she has to do is look at them, and they understand. Mother Nature at its finest 🐾

But while everyone naturally falls in love with puppies first… sweet moms like Zuma are often overlooked.

Zuma is only around 2 years old herself. She still has so much life, love, and happiness ahead of her. Now it’s time for her to be spoiled, protected, pampered, and loved the way she deserves.

She loves:

🐾 Going for walks
🐾 Cuddling on the couch
🐾 Being close to her people
🐾 Watching what’s happening around her
🐾 Following her humans from room to room

You can tell she pays attention to everything around her — probably a trait sharpened from motherhood and always watching over her babies.

Zuma walks nicely on a leash, is very respectful in the home, and does not jump or scratch at doors. She is still learning and growing herself and will need continued guidance and reassurance as she transitions into family life. She can occasionally step out of a leash if it gets tangled under her feet, so she will need someone attentive and patient while she continues building confidence.

What makes Zuma so special is that she is both gentle and observant. She wants to be near you. She wants connection. She wants to belong.

The puppies will all find homes quickly. We already know that.

But our hope is that someone sees Zuma too 💕
