Zuko's Story

Zuko
3 years, neutered male, 16 lbs
Terrier mix (possibly a bit of Jack Russell and Cattle Dog)

Zuko is a playful and affectionate boy. He has good doggy manners and has been a total joy for his foster family, including other small dogs.

LIKES: Playing with toys and his foster brother, getting his belly rubbed, kisses on his head, snuggles, and generally receiving attention. Hes a good eater but has no food aggression. He comes when called and seems very eager to please.

DISLIKES: Potential intruders - Zuko will let you know if he perceives a threat. He doesnt bark for long and stops when told, but his bark is fairly loud for a little fella. For that reason, he would not be suited to apartment life. He also doesnt love getting a bath, but gives in without too much struggle.

POTTY TRAINING: 100%. He has not had a single accident in his foster home since day twq. He just needs to be taken outside regularly to do his business.

CRATE TRAINING: Unknown. He is not crated in his foster home. He sleeps at the end of the bed at night. He invited himself up on the first night, and his foster family didnt have the heart to turn him away.

OTHER/MISC: Zuko does pretty well on walks, and seems to really enjoy them, but would benefit from some more training to ignore distractions. He would definitely love to end up in a home that is pretty active, and ideally with one or two other dogs in the house. He initially appears very shy and timid but quickly warms up. Hes been fine saying hello to new people, including kids. He is untested with cats.

Zuko is a total gem - beautiful on the outside and the inside.

To further inquire about ZUKO, submit an application.
https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/

Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how ZUKO will mesh with your lifestyle.
