ZORRO's Story

#A5760153
Meet
Zorro
, a 1.5-year-old Belgian Malinois who’s just barely out of his puppy years and already such a striking young boy. With his short, sleek dulce de leche coat and cocoa-dusted ears and snoot, he’s as handsome as they come. This sweet pup didn’t have the best care before arriving - fleas left him with some itchy skin - but he’s already receiving treatment and on the road to feeling much better. Zorro is incredibly well-mannered and smart, often walking up to the kennel gate and sitting politely for volunteers, which hints that he may already have some training (and would likely pick up new skills quickly!). Though he’s clearly a bit bored and missing the comforts of his old home, he melts for affection and even relaxed happily in a warm patch of sunshine while soaking up love from our team. Curious about the other dogs around him and full of potential, Zorro is truly the bestest boy and will thrive once he’s safe, loved, and settled into his forever home. Will that be with you?

-1.5 year old black and brown Belgian Malinois

-64 pound male, may need to be neutered upon adoption, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-may also need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this as well

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/5/26 as an owner surrender due to having too many pets - but we don’t know how they chose Zorro as the one to give up, as he’s a perfect gentleman!

ZORRO’S VIDEO:
https://youtube.com/shorts/gaYK0UDc_sE

For more information, contact volunteer Lor at

lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org

-------

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
