Zorra's Story

Meet Zorra! This sweet mama pup was found alone with a few of her puppies in Todos Santos, Mexico in March 2025. Her puppies were adopted locally and Zora eventually made her way to our shelter when space opened up. She was born in 2023 we estimate and is between 2 - 3 years old weighing about 33 pounds. This mama pup is a sweet and loving and is so excited to find her forever family.

Zora steals all the hearts of our volunteers with her sweet smile and bashful ways. She loves to go on walks with volunteers and plays well with other dogs at the shelter. She spends a lot of time lounging in the sun day dreaming of her chance to go to the PNW and finally taste a fall pumpkin pupcup with her new family. We think Zora would love to cuddle up in the living room and watch TV with her new family, while also being able to keep up on longer hikes in the spring, she is a very go with the flow type of attitude. She is also kennel trained and has some experience with being house trained from living at her fosters for a few months. If you think Zora sounds like your perfect companion we would love to hear from you!

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Zora is currently located in La Paz, Mexico at our shelter and is hanging out in the sun and with their doggie friends all day long. Zora is ready to venture to the PNW if they have a dedicated foster or an adopter. Once a pup is picked for a new family they can normally arrive to the PNW within 15 days.

Zora's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $400USD. This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.

Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
