Zoey's Story

Meet your new companion, Zoey!

Zoey was found as a stray and unfortunately no one came looking for her. She's 12 years old-which was verified by her microchip.

She is potty trained, does well on leash, and loves to cuddle next to her people. She has met large and small dogs and does well with both. She has even interacted with a rabbit and didn't care about her presence. It is unknown how she is around cats or children. Zoey loves to follow you around, stick her head out the window on car drives and gets very excited for dinner time! She also really enjoys pets and scratches!

She was showing early stages of kidney failure but after starting prescription diet kidney food, her values have improved significantly and is now in the green. She will have to be on the kidney food for the rest of her life and will need annual blood work to continue checking on those values.

She's vaccinated, microchipped and recently had a dental cleaning done. It is unknown if she is spayed. At her age and recent dental surgery, it's best we don't put her under again. So she has to go to a home with neutered males just to be extra safe. She will come with lots of kidney wet food.

She would make a wonderful companion to most!

She's currently being fostered in Roy but will be moving to her permanent foster home in Davis County early Sept.
