Zoey is 2 years old and about 30 lbs. She is currently in a wonderful foster home who is a dog trainer and is giving Zoey plenty of socialization and training. Zoey would benefit from being in a home with a calm and stable dog but can also be happy as an only dog. Zoey very much has the Husky personality so Husky lovers would love Zoey. She spent her early life in less than ideal circumstances, crated most of the time and heavily medicated to control her puppy energy. Understandably, she was shy and bit unsure of the world when she first came into foster care. But since then Zoey has absolutely blossomed. <br/><br/>Personality and Lifestyle - Zoey is affectionate and loyal once she warms up, she loves attention and being near her people. She'll happily curl up on the couch at night and snuggle in the bedroom (sometimes even the bed).<br/><br/>Zoey is playful and enjoys her zoomies and daily walks, but doesn't need endless exercise to be happy.<br/><br/>Zoey is adaptable. She's doing wonderfuly with crate training, responds to command "crate" and settles with minimum fuss.<br/><br/>Zoey is very smart and enjoys learning loose leash walking and doing well with all manners. <br/><br/>The perfect home is with someone who is consistent and patient. Zoey thrives on a schedule and routine. She's doing great with housetraining.<br/><br/>Zoey needs gentle introductions but does enjoy the company of other dogs but can feel overwhelmed in large groups or fast-paced settings. <br/><br/>Zoey thrives in a calm environment and warms up quickly and blossoms in a steady, loving home. <br/><br/>Zoey is ready to leave her past beind ans start fresh with a family who will give her the love and patience and consistency she deservecs.
