Zoey's Story

At 8 years young and 62lbs, Zoey is a gentle, spayed female who brings immense love and tranquility to any home. She is fully vaccinated and microchipped. We’re thrilled to report that she has fully recovered from heartworm disease after successful treatment and is ready to enjoy a completely normal, active life!
A True Lady: Zoey is exceptionally sweet, gentle, and has a naturally calm demeanor. She's outstanding with children and friendly with all adults. She thrives on attention but is also perfectly happy just to be in your presence, often choosing to lounge quietly or follow you lovingly throughout the house. She is house-trained and reliably non-destructive (though she’d prefer not to use a crate).
Life's Simple Pleasures: Zoey finds great joy in walks (she gets a little excited and may pull slightly) and has an absolute passion for car rides! An ideal match for Zoey is a family who is present, loving, and happy to include her in their routine adventures.
A Queen's Preference: Zoey's one special request is to be the undisputed queen of her castle. She prefers a home where she can be the only animal and is not comfortable living next door to other pets. While she has lived with cats, her curiosity made them nervous, so a feline-free home is best. She is, however, completely manageable when walking near other dogs.

Zoe is presently being fostered in Spartanburg, SC. We require veterinary reference checks and a home visit. We respond to all adoption inquiries so please be sure to check your junk/spam folder if you email us through PetFinder that you are interested as our response often goes to junk/spam.
