Zoe's Story
It has been a difficult few years for Zoe—but thankfully, the last few months have changed her life for the better.

For years, Zoe lived at the end of a chain. Concerned neighbors and good samaritans, who had seen enough suffering, began advocating for her after witnessing her deplorable living conditions: flies covering her face, feces everywhere, food dumped on the dirt for meals, and litter after litter of puppies as her former family profited from her pain.

Community pressure ultimately saved Zoe from a life of misery, and she was turned over to caring neighbors. At first, she was shuffled between fosters while everyone worked to find the right fit. Over the past several weeks, Zoe has finally landed in a foster home where she is thriving—she has another dog to romp with, enjoys daily walks, and is surrounded by love and kindness.

Every day, Zoe gains confidence and learns what it means to be a cherished companion animal. She is discovering joy, security, and life off the chain—and her happiness (and energy!) are endless.

Zoe is now ready to continue her journey into a forever home. Her foster mom shares that Zoe is still a work in progress. She loves her walks but can get nervous and overly excited when she sees other dogs or people. She jumps for joy when approached and absolutely thrives on human contact. Training, patience, and consistency will help her continue to blossom.

Zoe is currently available for adoption.
Requirements for her ideal home:

**** Another dog in the household is a must—she loves having a canine companion

**** An active yet patient family

**** A willingness to continue her confidence-building and training

Zoe has not been tested with cats, but given her gentle nature, we believe she would likely do just fine. She truly does not have a mean bone in her body.

If you feel that you or your family could be the loving home Zoe deserves for many years to come (adoption donation: $200), please take a moment to fill out an application at:

Once received, your application will be reviewed, and you will hear from us within 72 hours.
