Zip in RI's Story

Age: approx 2 years old
Weight: 12 lbs
My adoption fee is $599 which includes transportation charges to the Northeast.

Zip is now in Rhode Island!! He arrived Saturday and is winning hearts everywhere he goes. This little dude is absolutely precious and his happy button is stuck at ON! He is friendly and affectionate to all humans and does really well with other dogs, too. He even passed his first cat test in foster!

Zip is around 2 years old and 10 pounds. He may have some Jack Russell Terrier in his breed mix; he certainly looks it, but he is not rascally or challenging like some associate with that breed. He would love to live with another dog or two but could also be an only. He is active but not hyper, and will thrive if kept busy with walks and yard time and maybe some errands around town in the car. Indoors he settles nicely with a chew and doesn't complain too much when crated. Zip's house training appears to be in order provided he gets turned out fairly frequently.

Zip is a happy, playful, active boy. He is typical of this breed in that he is playful and active. He would probably do best with a playmate and will need opportunity to run and play safely. He is a very joyful boy and eagerly meets new people and thinks everyone is his friend.

If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website: https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/
