Ziggy-- courtesy listing's Story
Ziggy was found by a Good Samaritan who searched for his owner, but no one came forward. Now sweet Ziggy is looking for a forever home!

- Male, black and white, estimated 5 to 6 years old.
- Very friendly and mostly calm. Knows sit and stay.
- Not aggressive, though he shows some protectiveness over his food. (This is easily managed and may resolve once he knows food isn't scarce.)
- 44 pounds, underweight, and gaining on a feeding plan.
- Mostly potty trained but has had a few accidents

He's done very well with dog intros so far, but Huskies aren't usually great with cats, and we wouldn't recommend young kids. Even a chill adult Husky will jump! This breed is known for being expert escape artists, so he shouldn't be trusted alone in yards with easily-jumpable fences.

Ziggy has been wormed, vaccinated and is scheduled to be neutered in a few weeks.

If you're interested in this beautiful boy, please fill out an application on our website, and we will pass it along to his community rescuers.

https://northmeckanimalrescue.org/
