Sherry Saving Discarded Dogs's Adoption Policy
Adoptions begin with an approved application, which you can complete online. Next, you’ll meet with an Adoption Counselor for an interview. In some cases, a home visit is necessary before the adoption can be finalized. You’ll be required to provide a current form of ID, such as a driver’s license or passport. Applicants are required to have a co-applicant or back up care giver. Your adoption fee can be made via cash or credit card. In most cases, you can take your new pet home the same day! You should expect to hear from our team several times over the first few months after adoption. We follow up on required immunizations, and also do several check-ins to ensure that both human and animal are happy with their new arrangements.
