Hi there! I'm Ziggy, a 1-year-old, 43-pound Pit Bull Terrier and I love everyone I meet-people and dogs alike! I am so social that the shelter chose me as its "helper dog," allowing me to meet other dogs during temperament testing and help shy dogs gain confidence through my playful, happy demeanor. I am the perfect balance of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. I love playing with other dogs, going for walks and car rides, and my toys. However, once I am home, I love nothing more than cuddling and napping with my people. I am incredibly smart, which means I am the fastest learner, but can also be mischievous! I am completely potty trained and am kept in a crate when no one is home! <br/><br/>Ziggy is already neutered and has an adoption fee of $200. Whether you are looking for an active and affectionate companion or a best friend for your current dog, Ziggy may be the perfect fit!

We are currently operating by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting a new pet, please visit our website at https://www.hsdcohio.org/adoptable to complete an application. Once it is processed, one of our staff members will give you a call to discuss the animal you are interested in meeting. If it is decided the animal is a good match, an appointment will be scheduled at that time. Staff try to make the best match possible for both the animal and the adopter. An individual must be at least 18 years old and reside within the state of Ohio. As an adopter, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and any leasing restrictions, if appropriate.
