He would absolutely thrive with someone looking for a running or hiking partner, or an agility dog who can put his intelligence and athleticism to work. He needs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and activities to keep his busy mind and body happy.

A securely fenced yard is required for Ziggy. He loves to run, play, explore, and burn off some of that wonderful Catahoula energy. He's great with other dogs and would be an excellent match for a playful canine companion who enjoys keeping up with him. He would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home as long as his people can provide plenty of activity and attention.

Ziggy is very food motivated and loves his treats, which makes him eager to learn! He also loves to chew, so appropriate chew toys and activities will be important for this busy boy.

Despite all that energy, Ziggy is also an incredibly affectionate and loving guy. He wants to be part of the action and absolutely loves socializing with the dogs he meets around town. He's a fun, outgoing, athletic pup who would love an active person or family who will give him the exercise, structure, and mental enrichment he needs.

If you're looking for a smart, athletic adventure buddy who will keep you on your toes and then happily soak up some love, Ziggy could be your guy!

Apply to adopt Ziggy at bcaaofnj.org!
