Ziggy sometimes has a lot to say—he expresses himself with enthusiastic barking, especially when he’s excited, when strangers come to the house, or he sees something interesting outside. If you’ve been looking for a constant companion to join you for every movie marathon, laundry load, and snack break, I’m your guy! I am a certified cuddle expert and my favorite place in the world is right by your side. I’m already house-trained, and I love showing off my talents like how to sit, give paw, lie down & stay when you ask me. I take treats easily from your hand and will wait for the word "GO" when asked. Mom thinks I'm pretty much the most highly intelligent pup you can get. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I will ring the jingle bells on the door to let you know when I need to go potty.<br/><br/>The Quirks:<br/>"While I have a massive heart for my inner circle, I’m a bit of a 'social introvert' when it comes to meeting new people. I take my job as your loyal guardian seriously, so I might let out a few barks to let you know a 'stranger' is near. I just need a little extra time and a few slow introductions to realize that new faces are actually new friends."<br/><br/>Ideal Forever Home:<br/>I would thrive in an adult only home or a home with older children. I do very well in a home that has a predictable routine. I’d love a teammate who is willing to continue my confidence-building training. Because I prefer a quieter lifestyle, a home with a fenced yard or one in a calm neighborhood would be my dream come true.<br/> <br/>Ziggy would do best with someone who’s home often and can give him the love and reassurance he craves.
