Ziggy's Story
Welcome Ziggy! This lively pup was found wandering the streets by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. Sadly, his owners never claimed him, but their loss could be your wonderful gain! Ziggy is a young dog, approximately 1 year, who weighs about 50 pounds. With his vibrant puppy energy, Ziggy would thrive with some structured training to help him become the best version of himself. Ziggy loves playing fetch in the yard, where he can run and have fun. However, he does get scared around loud noises, so a quieter environment rather than a bustling downtown might be more suitable for him. Ziggy has been gaining confidence from the companionship of his foster dog brother, and we believe he would do well in a home with another dog to keep him company. Here's what Ziggy's foster family has to say about him: Sir Zigfield Von Boingington is a super happy dog with a genuinely funny personality. He has a serious case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and is currently a Velcro dog, always wanting to be near you. Although not fond of his crate, he will go in without too much fuss and doesn't try to escape. Ziggy has a bit of a mischievous side, as he loves to collect treasures each morning—whether it's a toy, a shoe, or a roll of poop bags—and bring them to his bed. He can be a little mouthy, but it's gentle and more playful than anything else. If Ziggy were a human, he'd surely be Bart Simpson: 100% Troublemaker, 100% just for fun. Ziggy has shown a lot of interest in his foster sister cat. While he doesn’t initiate a chase, he will run after a cat if they decide to take off. It's worth noting that Ziggy has not been around children, so his behavior with them is untested. If you think Ziggy might be the perfect addition to your family, you can apply by visiting http://www.peipeople.com and completing the adoption application. Ziggy is eagerly waiting to bring joy, fun, and a bit of harmless mischief to his forever home! He is fostering in the Portland, OR area and will be neutered prior to being adopted.
