ZEUS's Story

Contact my foster at gaitherapiffany@gmail.com Zeus is a short, 70-lb hunk of muscle with golden-retriever energy in a linebacker body and a heart that somehow manages to be even bigger than his head. He is dog-friendly, playful, and delightfully submissive, but fair warning: when he gets excited, he’s basically a bull in a china shop made entirely of love. He thrives with other dogs (mine adore him), feeds off their energy, and will happily run, wrestle, and then invite everyone into a three-dog tug-of-war sharing situation like a true gentleman. Zeus is food-motivated, treat-obsessed, and eager to please — already knows sit and is working on wait. He’s crate-trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and has an established bedtime routine that includes chill Spotify mixes, Noah Kahan (obviously), his favorite Woof Treat Ball, and a well-earned massage + cuddle session. Despite his goofiness, Zeus is: -House trained (uses the doggie door like a pro) -Excellent at telling you when he needs to go out -Not destructive -A fan of the cute sploot -Walks best with a harness or martingale collar -Great in public and has done well with kids -has a signature little hop when he runs, a very large noggin, and an even larger capacity for affection. He’s high-energy but absolutely capable of settling — he just needs someone who understands that enthusiasm ? bad intentions. *Medical note: Zeus is heartworm positive, but treatment is provided upon adoption at no cost. No other known health concerns.
