Hey, I'm Zeus... I'm 4 years old, about 58 pounds, and made of 100% cuddle. I'm a German Shepard/Boxer mix, so you know I'm smart, loyal and friendly. If I could curl up on my humans all day, I would-being close is my favorite place to be. Give me a plushy toy (bonus points if it squeaks), a cozy dog bed and a warm lap and I'm the happiest guy in the world. I do have some opinions about cats. If one zips past me, I can't help but want to chase. I'm working on it, though. I also like slow introductions with other dogs-I need a minute to feel things out, but once I do, I'm good. I'm friendly with my foster buddies: Lucky Lady (she's a tripod) and the tiny pitties Donald and Daisy. I've got some energy and love to zoom around the yard. Toys are my jam, and I'm learning to walk better on a leash-treats and back scratches help a lot! I'm housebroken, fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Basically, I'm ready to go. New Hope Rescue, Inc's Adoption Policy

New Hope Rescue, Inc. wants nothing but the best for the animals we are placing. NHR requires anyone interested in adopting to fill out an adoption application first. Once approved, we will require a meet-n-greet with the pet of interest. Then if all goes well, NHR requires a home check before placing animal in your home. We want to make sure all fencing is in place, proper kennels are ready, and the dog is comfortable during the walk thru and we feel comfortable leaving the pet in your care. Again, we just want to make sure the pet is in the best possible home possible.
