Hi there! My name is Zeus, and I’m a 75-lb male Great Pyrenees mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. I’m an incredibly sweet and friendly guy who thrives on human connection. I can be a little timid when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly — especially if you come bearing tasty treats!<br/><br/>One thing to know about me: I have a very specific quirk — bald men make me a little uneasy. If you’ve got a full head of hair, we’ll be fast friends. <br/><br/>I get along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, cats, and even kittens. Making friends is kind of my specialty, and if someone’s willing to play, I’m always in! One of my favorite games is fetch (or as I like to play it, fetch/keep-away). I’m also a huge fan of booty scratches — they’re so good they make me do a little happy jig!<br/><br/>I’m a medium-energy pup who enjoys playtime but also knows how to relax. I’m fully potty trained and know several basic commands, including sit, lay down, wait, and shake. I’m partially crate trained, though I prefer having the crate door open and typically do best being left out. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
