In a controlled environment he thrives, but he is not recommended for an inexperienced dog owner.<br/><br/>Is your dog playful: At times, he’s more of a cuddler and an Olympic napper<br/><br/>Describe the dogs energy level: Medium, he is active when outside, but very calm inside<br/><br/>Does your dog like to snuggle: He is such a snuggly boy!<br/><br/>Does your dog know basic commands: Zeus is very obedient in the house, is redirected easily, and knows basic commands like sit and leave it.<br/><br/>Does your dog know any special tricks: Not really<br/><br/>Describe the dogs level of training: Basic<br/><br/>Does your dog like to go on walks: Zeus loves walks but he needs constant training on walks. He used to pull a lot, but with his training he has come a long way. This will need to be continued.<br/><br/>Does your dog have any fears: He can be spooked by loud sudden noises but he is pretty confident<br/><br/>Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed whether in personality or physically: He is a goofy boy, loves laying on the floor with anyone who joins him<br/><br/>What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: Lovable, food motivated, and loyal<br/><br/>Provide a description of your foster dog and the ideal home for them:<br/>Zeus is such a well behaved boy but needs firm boundaries or unfavourable personality traits may come to light. We currently keep him off the furniture and feed him separately from other dogs. His toys are given to him for short periods and then put away when he is finished, or given to him in his safe space. Zeus would thrive most in a family without young children or other dogs. While he can live with other dogs, he needs constant boundaries and supervision. His current foster has managed his behaviours with their 3 dogs, but this is a constant job that requires a lot of time and effort. His ideal home would be someone with breed experience and someone who understands how quickly bad behaviours can escalate if the dog does not have structure.<br/><br/>Please note, applicants for Zeus must have experience with dogs.
