ZERO's Story
Meet Zero! Zero is a 1-year-old Terrier mix, approx. 15lbs (about the size of a larger Chihuahua) with a playful personality and lots of love to give. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Zero is house trained, crate trained, and absolutely adores kids. Hes a fun, high-energy little guy who loves walks, playtime, and being part of the action. He even hops around when he gets excited! Zero would make a great lap dog after he burns off some energy, and he would likely do very well with another playful dog companion because he absolutely loves to play.

Zero barks playfully at other dogs because he is excited and wanted to interact. Because hes quick and energetic, he would probably do best with a fenced-in yard where he can safely run and play.

Zero is still learning basic commands, but hes eager, social, and food motivated. He goes right into his crate for a treat and settles in nicely when left alone. At treat time, he happily goes into his crate and just chills. Hes generally quiet in his crate and usually only barks if he needs to go outside or if the other dogs in his foster home start barking.

Zero loves being the center of attention and will happily follow his people around all day especially if snacks are involved, so watch your plate! He enjoys rough-and-tumble play with other dogs and has done well with the other dogs in his foster home. He has also met cats and, after some barking, quickly learned to respect their boundaries.

Zero would do best with a family ready for an active, playful companion who enjoys affection, playtime, and being part of the fun!

If you would like to meet ZERO, or for more information, please email PetRescueOfMercer@gmail.com

Link to adoption application: https://www.petrescueofmercer.org/dogadoptionapp

Applicants must live within 60min driving distance of Hamilton, NJ to be considered.
