Zerkel is a goofy, playful, busy, happy little character. This Maltese mix is affectionate and cuddly when he’s not busy playing. Puzzle toys, training sessions and interactive play would be beneficial to keep him entertained. Zerkel gets distracted easily; loves playing with other small dogs; friendly, adaptable; sensitive at times (won’t fare well in tumultuous or high-stress environment); somewhat independent; a terrific welcome home greeter; even tempered; and needy. He is not cat or large dog tested; not leash trained; house manners are fair; not very barky; still puppy in many ways. Zerkel is a groom dog (was well behaved when groomed). His best life would be with another small dog play-buddy, an adult home or a family with older dog-friendly kids and a fenced yard to discover and play freely.
