Zephyr

Zephyr’s Story
Courtesy Post only by Denton Humane Society for Denton Animal Shelter

Zephyr is a 6-year-old Alaskan Husky who has been in our care since 8/25/2026 and is currently thriving in a foster home. She’s a calm and gentle soul, making her a great companion for a relaxed household. Zephyr is dog friendly and generally indifferent to other dogs, so she would do well as a solo pet or with other calm canine companions. She is crate trained and potty trained, making the transition to a new home much easier. Zephyr enjoys car rides and loves playing with toys, showing her playful side when she feels comfortable. Given her longer stay with us, we’re eager to find Zephyr a loving, permanent home where she can settle in and share her affectionate, easygoing nature. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance friend, Zephyr could be the perfect addition to your family.

For Adoption or Foster information, call 940-349-7594 or inquire by emailing animal.services@cityofdenton.com. Zephyr is waiting.
