Zena is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a long, fluffy, beautiful coat. She’s cute, fun, and loves to splash and play in water. Heartbreakingly, Zena was surrendered by her owner to a crowded shelter, knowing she faced an almost certain chance of being euthanized simply because the family had a baby. But the Heigl Foundation and rescue partner Melita’s Dream Animal Rescue stepped in to give her the chance she deserves. Zena will do best as the only dog in an adult-only home where she can soak up all the love and attention. She’s ready to start her new life with a family who will cherish her for the wonderful companion she is. Zena is available for adoption in the Greater Los Angeles area.
