She is a naturally chatty girl who isn't afraid to let you know exactly when she is excited or ready to play. A true explorer at heart, Zelma is perfectly content wandering around the yard either on her own or alongside her foster siblings. She is remarkably unfazed by loud noises, having grown accustomed to the various sounds of farm and shop life, and she has already successfully met pigs, goats, and chickens. To top it all off, Zelma absolutely adores cats.<br/><br/>When it comes to family life, Zelma is incredibly versatile and has done fabulously around children of all ages, from infants to twelve-year-olds. She is a respectful playmate who gets along great with other dogs, even forming a wonderful bond with her much larger Cane Corso foster sister despite their difference in size and age. While she is happy to play with her toys independently, she truly shines when she is part of the action.<br/><br/>Zelma is also a "smart cookie" who is making great strides with her training. Crate training has been a breeze for her, and she confidently treats her crate as a safe chill zone. While house training is still a work in progress, she is catching on very quickly. She is a total professional during grooming sessions, handling both baths and nail clips with ease.<br/><br/>This sweet girl has some adorable quirks, including a love for water that sometimes leads her to play with her water dish. In the winter, she has even been known to act like a "snow snake," happily slithering around in the fresh powder outside. With her kind, sweet, and intelligent personality, Zelma would make a fabulous addition to a lucky family.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $495 ($200 will be returned upon proof of spay). She is microchipped, dewormed, and current on vaccines.
