This adorable 3-year-old, 22-pound Terrier mix is as sweet as they come. If you're looking for a dog with a gentle heart and a loving personality, Zella just might be your perfect match. She truly is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet and has a way of winning over everyone she encounters.<br/><br/>Zella gets along wonderfully with just about everything she meets, making her an easy fit for almost any home. Whether you already have other pets, children, or you're simply looking for a loyal companion, Zella's easygoing nature makes her a fantastic addition to the family.<br/><br/>She's also a well-mannered girl with great house habits. Zella is house trained, knows how to use the dog door, and does wonderfully in her kennel. She has the kind of calm, loving personality that makes living with her a joy.<br/><br/>Zella tested positive for heartworms when she came into rescue, but she has completed treatment with Immiticide and is ready to start the next chapter of her life. She should test heartworm negative at her six-month recheck, so she's all set to find her forever family now.<br/><br/>If you're searching for a kind, affectionate companion who will fit into just about any household and love you with her whole heart, Zella is waiting to meet you!<br/><br/>Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)<br/><br/>You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.<br/><br/>Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.<br/><br/>Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.<br/><br/>Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.<br/><br/>Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ **<br/><br/>- IMPORTANT INFORMATION -<br/><br/>SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.<br/><br/>Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.<br/><br/>Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.<br/><br/>All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.<br/><br/>We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.
