Despite being dumped as a young puppy and growing up in a shelter this one year old girl has an old soul that seems to look right into your heart and although a bit shy to start her's is the kind of love your must earn and then she will cover you in kisses and melt in your arms.<br/><br/>This soft mellow one little lady loves all other dogs and must have one in her home to make her feel confident. Being a puppy still she loves her chew toys and bones. She is sweet tempered and is comfortable with dogs from small to giant breed and will play to their energy level. Zelda is a smart sweet tempered beauty who calmly watches her people and once ready to love you she will be your forever companion. When bedtime rolls around she is happy to put herself to bed beside you or in your arms and sleep all night. She's always looking for the comfort she missed out on growing up but is also somewhat independent and keeps herself busy.<br/><br/>Zelda is a gorgeous mix with the best guess being shepherd and possibly boxer or cattle dog and weighs only 35 pounds so she is a great size! All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
