Zelda's Story

Zelda has found her forever home with At P in Danvers, MA

Come Meet Me! Zelda can be met at our Open House on Thursday, February 12 from 7-8 PM and on Monday, February 16 from 3-5 at 106 Adams Street, Medfield.

This sweet girl Zelda is approximately 9/10 months old and weighs close to 40 lbs.. She has a white and tan coat and intelligent brown eyes. Zelda and her sisters were rescued from a hoarding situation. They have been well vetted and in a foster home since they were about 2 months old. In her Southern foster home, Zelda was described as playful with her siblings, the resident dogs and her toys.

Her current placement in New England describes her as sweet and playful. She likes to walk and exercise but also likes to lie on a bed :). She is quiet and has not been heard to bark yet. Zelda has ignored the resident cat. She has been working on leash, house and crate training. Zelda loves attention and to be loved on.

If you have the time and attention to train and play with a puppy and think Zelda would make a wonderful addition to your family, please go to our website and fill out an application form. As with all our pups, we believe Zelda would do best in a family with children 5 and older.

Adoption Coordinator: Beth

Adoption Fee: $500

Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.

Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
