Thankfully, a couple of good Samaritans stepped in and guided her to safety inside their garage. Once she realized she was safe, Zelda did something that says everything about her heart—she curled up in a simple cardboard box and fell fast asleep, as if she’d finally found a moment of peace.<br/><br/>Since arriving at our rescue, Zelda has shown everyone exactly who she is: a soft soul with a quiet strength. She may be a little older, but that just means she comes with wisdom, patience, and an even deeper appreciation for comfort and companionship. She loves cozy spaces, gentle voices, and the reassuring presence of someone who cares.<br/><br/>Zelda isn’t looking for chaos or adventure—she’s looking for a safe place to rest her head, a warm lap, and a person to love her for the rest of her days.
