Zeke came to the shelter as a stray, and while he can be a little shy at first, he doesn’t stay that way for long. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through. He’s a friendly young pup who loves pack walks and gets delightfully excited—zoomies and all.

The person who found Zeke shared that he was discovered happily playing with their maltipoo, and at the shelter he has continued to show that he is dog friendly. At just 1 year and 6 months old and 48 lbs, Zeke is still very much a puppy with so much life ahead of him.

Shelter life has been hard on him. He’s showing signs of kennel stress, which isn’t surprising for a young, social dog in an overcrowded environment. With a calm home, basic training, and regular socialization—things every young dog needs—Zeke has all the potential to thrive.

The shelter is currently at maximum capacity, and because of that
