Zeke's Story

Zeke is HES's second-longest canine resident. He has been in shelter care for just over 1 year. At around 11-years-old, this senior fella has lived a long life, and deserves to live out the rest of it in the comfort of a loving forever home.

Described by his foster as a snuggly, treat-loving nap buddy, Zeke is a very easy-going dog who enjoys relaxation and prioritizes comfort.

His favorite activities include: eating breakfast, brisk morning walks, eating snacks, searching out sun spots, eating dinner (are we sensing a pattern? ), picking a fight with the garden sprinklers, and taking plenty of siestas throughout the day with his foster fur siblings.

Zeke would do well in just about any home. Gentle and friendly, he loves all people. He likes other dogs and will play in brief spouts of energy, but he'd also be content as the only dog in the home, too. He's housebroken and has never had an accident at his foster's house, and is not destructive when left home alone.

Zeke is SUCH a good dog. A shelter favorite among staff and volunteers, he deserves the world and we know that there's a senior dog-loving owner out there just for him!
