Zeke's Story

Hi, my name is Zeke and I was originally adopted in 2017 and came back 2021. My last family had an in-home daycare and the kids were picking on me and not being very respectful of my boundaries. When I started getting nippy they banished me to the basement to keep the kids safe. <br/><br/>Since being back at the shelter I have gotten down quite a routine and made a lot of new people friends! I need a very experienced owner that is familiar with stranger danger, resource guarding and bond-building. I do have dog friends at the shelter, but would need to approve of any new dogs before going home. I love long walks, belly rubs and quality time with my favorite people!

Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Dog adoption fee is $300 for puppies less than 6 months old, $200 for 6-12 months of age and $175 for dogs over one year of age. Seniors 7 years of age and up are $75. This includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, deworming, flea/tick medicine, heartworm testing and distemper/parvovirus/lepto and Bordetella vaccinations. Microchipping and engraved dog tag are also included. Kitten adoption fee is $80 with adults $40(although specials can occur!) which includes spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination, deworming, FeLV testing and rabies vaccination if age appropriate.
