It's Zeke, your new adventure buddy!<br/><br/>Zeke is a bright, affectionate young dog with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. At about 50 pounds, hes the perfect mediumsized companion big enough for adventures, small enough to curl up beside you on the couch. He loves snuggling, burrowing under blankets, and doing his best to convince you he belongs in your bed at night. Hes smart, eager to learn, and full of that fun, goofy puppy energy.<br/><br/>Zeke is fully house-trained and very well-behaved in his crate. He knows his meal-time manners, like sit and wait, and OK is his release cue. He is very food motivated and easy to train. He can be a destructive chewer unless given tough toys for enrichment.<br/><br/>At just 2 years old, Zeke is still young and learning how to be the best good boy. He jumps when hes excited (which is almost all the time). Hes a bit of a watch-dog in that hell let you know when theres a visitor outdoors, human or animal.<br/><br/>This guy is just so sweet, cuddly and people-oriented. Hes playful and energetic, smart and observant. He really thrives on routine and structure, but loves being a part of a family. He can be overly enthusiastic when there are children around to play with, but he behaves right away with assertive guidance. He is playful and engaging with other dogs. Hes previous lived with cats and is constantly learning how to respect their space (not every cat wants to play).<br/><br/>Zeke needs a family with older children (because of his jumping and enthusiastic greetings). Hes really enjoy a fenced yard or space to run. Zeke needs a family who enjoys training, playtime, and daily exercise, and who appreciates a cuddly, energetic companion for many years to come.<br/><br/>Zeke is most likely to be a mix of Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, Shepherd and Hound.
