Zeke's Story

Meet Zeke! Originally from Kentucky, this handsome 2-4 year old, 40-pound Heeler mix is the ultimate adventure buddy and a total snuggle bug. Zeke loves going on neighborhood walks, checking out local breweries, floating in the pool, and showing off his newest toy to anyone who will watch.

Equal parts playful and affectionate - Zeke’s sweetest quirks include lots of doggy smiles, giving genuine hugs, and curling up in bed right beside you to share your pillow. He’s neutered, fully vetted, and looking for an active family ready for adventures and serious cuddle time.

Zeke is especially excited for Halloween and hopes to land his furever home before the big day! He’s already tried on a few outfits, but he needs your help deciding: should he go as a crab, a bee, or a firefighter? If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving best friend to share your life (and your pillow), Zeke can’t wait to meet you!

ADOPTION FEE : $350
Please submit an application through our rescue, NOT a Petfinder inquiry
---------------------------------------
Apply to adopt here:
https://puppymillrescueteam.org/dog-adoption-application/

This dog is located in Rochester NY. Puppy Mill Rescue Team 's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION POLICIES The Puppy Mill Rescue Team’s dogs are placed into adoptive homes within 60 miles of the foster home. We have foster homes in Rochester, NY, Buffalo, NY, and Macedonia, OH. When applying for a specific dog please check the profile to see where the dog is located. If you are not in this area and are looking to adopt, we recommend that you visit our Rescue Partners area or Petfinder.com to locate a rescue in your area. A legally binding Adoption Agreement must be signed at the time a dog is placed. The adoption donation varies and is included in the dog’s description on the website as well as in the Adoption Agreement. Adoption donations are not negotiable and payment must be made in full prior to or at the time of the placement of the dog. Please read prior to submission of an application for adoption. All potential homes must complete our adoption process which includes an application, meet and greet, home inspection and veterinary reference. Applicants must provide veterinary references if they have previously owned a pet and contact veterinary facilities to authorize release of their records to a PMRT representative upon request. Applicants who rent their homes must verify that they are permitted to have a dog and provide a landlord contact number on the adoption application. Landlords will be contacted in every case, no exception. The primary adopter must be at least 21 years old. We are solely committed to the dogs accepted into the rescue. We want to find them loving, permanent homes and go to great lengths to place the right dog into the right family. We reserve the right to decline any adoption based on what we feel is in the best interest of the dog.
