Zebediah's Story
Zebediah is a loyal guy who loves older kids, strangers, and playtime! He's crate trained and seems potty trained, though a refresher course is recommended. Zeb adores running, tug-of-war, and carrying toys around-he could play for hours if you let him.
He was adopted and returned because he would chase livestock and does not do well around them, so a home without livestock is a must. At the shelter, he can be slow to warm up but has done well once settled in a home. Zeb does not like people rushing up on him and would thrive in a calm environment.
He's good with other dogs in passing but would do best as the only dog since he can be possessive of his people. Zeb has a high prey drive and has shown interest in cats and is not recommended for a home with them.
He would benefit from continued training, especially with recall, as he tends to treat off-leash time like a game of keep-away. Zeb rides well in the car, making him a great adventure buddy.
Zebediah is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, heartworm negative and on prevention. If you're looking for a playful, devoted companion who loves to run and cuddle, Zeb could be the perfect match!
