THEY TIED ME TO A TREE... AND LEFT ME THERE. <br/><br/>I was just a baby.<br/><br/>Nine months old.<br/><br/>I was tied to a tree at an intersection, alone and terrified, watching the world go by and wondering why nobody was coming back for me.<br/><br/>I didnt know what I had done wrong.<br/>I didnt know where my family was.<br/>I didnt know if anyone would ever find me.<br/><br/>I only knew that I was scared. <br/><br/>Then, thankfully, a Good Samaritan saw me.<br/><br/>They took me home. They checked me for a microchip. They posted flyers. They tried everything they could to find my family.<br/><br/>Nobody came looking for me.<br/><br/>So now Im hoping that maybe... just maybe... someone is looking for ME. <br/><br/>Im a 9-month-old, 55-pound Pittie/Great Dane mix, and despite everything that happened to me, I havent let it change my heart.<br/><br/>I am sweet. Loving. Smart. Playful.<br/><br/>Im wonderful with kids and other dogs.<br/>Im good on leash.<br/>Im crate trained.<br/>And I LOVE to please my people.<br/><br/>Look into my eyes. <br/>Those beautiful eyes have seen something no puppy should ever have to experience.<br/><br/>But theyre still hopeful.<br/><br/>Still trusting.<br/><br/>Still waiting for someone to say:<br/><br/>Youre safe now, Zazu.
