Zara's Story

If you are looking for a laid-back, gentle, young dog with whom you can share walks or hiking, sofa time and life, then you should meet Zara. This approximately 5-month-old hound or pointer mix came to us from a kill shelter in NC. She was found with several other pups, abandoned. She currently weighs 31 pounds, is house-broken and can use a doggy door. She is not yet spayed, as she is too young but will be when old enough. She loves her toys and would do well with a companion dog with whom she can play.

Because of her size and young age, she would be better in a home without small children.

This kind soul will make her adopter a very happy person!
