ZARA's Story

Hi! My name is Zara and I am available for adoption! I am considered a large breed dog. I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing! I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs but I should not go to a home with any small animals. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. I would do best in a home with no children. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032. Come and visit me today, I'd love to go home with you!

Our adoptions are done on a "first-come, first-served" basis so please come in as a walk-in visitor for a meet-and-greet from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you would like more information on an adoptable animal please come in during business hours as we will not be able to return phone call or email inquiries.
