Zara's Story

Zara is a 3-5 yr old spayed female Cattle Dog. I believe she's an "off color" purebred but may have some Border Collie or Aussie in her. She weighs 36#s and should be closer to 40 at an ideal weight. She is completely housebroken and sleeps quietly in her crate when asked. She gets along fine with other dogs, but is not playful with them and can be spicy at feeding time. She would do best as an only dog. I manage her just fine with my 6 dogs, and you could too, but she needs to be reminded she's NOT the boss of the pack, you are, and she falls in line just fine. She's fine with all farm life and cats. She is also great with my grandkids, but kike all stock dogs, usually don't do well with visiting kids. I do know that she wouldn't but that's something to keep in mind. She likes a short game of fetch, not obsessed by any means like some. She's a very serious dog, on alert at all times and watching. She will make your yard and home feel safe for sure! She isn't a big barker, but does alert when appropriate and would deter any would be villain for sure. She just an awesome all around dog and we feel a "keeper" but we are at our limit currently. Lucky for you she is available to become your next full-time adventure partner!
