Meet Zara

Please look at the gorgeous girl Zara! She is a 1 year and 5 months old German Shepherd mix, 42 lbs. and 20" to the shoulders. This beautiful girl was found in the yard of the big apartment building where she was able to crawl to after she was hit by a car. It appears that she had a fractured hip joint. Zara was taken to a foster home. Despite the pain that she experienced, she was very friendly with people as well as animals. Zara gets along with all her mates. Zara was taken to the vet hospital and got several x rays of her hip. Vets came to the conclusion to leave the hip as is, because it doesn't affect her quality of life. One can notice that because her gait is kind of unique - she is bouncing like a goat. Zara is active and playful. She is spayed, vaccinated and healthy. She is good on a leash, knows basic commands and house trained. A house with a fenced in yard will be ideal for her. Zara really wants to go home and is waiting for you!
