Meet Zach! - our little sweet soul!<br/><br/>Zach is a 17-month-old Beagle mix weighing in at around 20 pounds, and he’s the perfect blend of playful and snuggly. This sweet boy was found as a stray in Keaver, KY this past December, and he’s been soaking up love and learning what it means to feel safe ever since.<br/><br/>Zach can be a little shy when meeting new people and isn’t a fan of loud noises, so he’ll do best in a calm, patient home where he can build confidence at his own pace. Once he warms up, his gentle and affectionate personality really shines through.<br/><br/>He absolutely loves playing with stuffed toys and will happily entertain himself (or you!) with his favorites. After playtime, Zach is more than ready to curl up next to you, soaking in all the snuggles and giving the sweetest, most gentle kisses.<br/><br/>Update; Zach attended a Meet and Greet event and during the whole hour and a half, he enthusiastically received all the attention coming his way, giving continuous kisses and tail wags the whole time. On the car ride, Zach would have preferred being on my lap and not confined to the back seat. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.<br/>• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.<br/>• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.<br/>• We do request vet and personal references.<br/>• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter
