Yum Yum's Story
Yum Yum is the last puppy left from a litter rescued from under a house on the beach in Puerto Rico. Born on Mother's Day!

He is a very sweet and tender hearted lil guy. He loves to play and is growing so fast! He is almost 12 weeks old and weighs 14.5 pounds. He is a super quick learner! He was named Yum Yum by his foster mom in Puerto Rico because he always wanted to eat. That certainly hasnt changed as he is 4-5 pounds bigger than his siblings.

At just 12 weeks old he knows the commands sit, down, paw, crate and is working on place and come. He loves to have lullabys sung to him at nap time (his fav is You are my Sunshine and a Russian lullaby).

He is doing really well with leash training and ignores other dogs who are yappy or lunging. We are continuing to work on house training as a recent UTI was hindering his progress. He loves the neighborhood cat and knows when Gus has had enough. He has done really well with children ages 5-10. He has been going on short outings in public and is becoming very friendly and outgoing.

Yum Yum would love to have a well balanced, playful doggy sibling to play with or have the opportunity to engage in appropriate play sessions. Dog Parks and loud events are definitely not his jam. He may also like being a running partner. He would absolutely love having a nice fenced yard to play and hunt lizards in.

We suspect he may weigh around 45-50 pounds when fully grown. He has had his first 3 rounds of puppy shots and is microchipped. We suspect he has allergies, so he is being tested for that.

We would love for someone local to adopt him, but anywhere in Florida and Southeast Georgia are perfectly fine.

Please help find Yum Yum the perfect family!
