Yukon's Story

Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix male puppyWelcome Yukon from Tulare County Animal Services! Yukon is believed to be a border collie / Great Pyrenees mix (taking more heavily after the GP - he’s got the double dew claws and curl in his tail to prove it). This monolith puppy is nothing but pure joy and smiles. He is sure to light up a room with his sweet, floppy, and silly soul. At 4.5 months and 32lbs currently, this guy will likely be 70lbs+ at maturity. Every time he takes a step it’s accompanied by a giant THUD and we can’t get enough of it.
Yukon sleeps soundly in a crate overnight and seems to follow each and every move the resident dogs make, including where to go potty. He is playful but respectful of the big dogs and because of that, they all seem to love him too. He is going to make a fantastic family dog or even therapy dog with his gentle spirit and calm (for a puppy) disposition.
He is microchipped, on a vaccine schedule, and can go home on a neuter contract.
Yukon is in Arroyo Grande, CA
More photos and updates: https://www.facebook.com/www.cchdrescue.org/ search in posts and photo albums.
Interested in Yukon? Please complete an application at: http://bit.ly/CCHDR_App
Note: No transport or blind adoptions. Prospective adopters must have a plan in place to meet and pick up their dog from the foster location.
