Yoshi's Story

Yoshi is a one year old timid male. He was rescued from terrible conditions where we presume he was going to be used for breeding. He has yet to feel the comforts of a home and unconditional human love. Due to this, he can be shy at first and confused when someone comes into his kennel. Once staff picks him up, he will freeze and allow pets. After continued bonding, Yoshi now will slowly come up to you on his own for pets, or even act like he wants to play and get upset when you leave. Yoshi would do best in a patient home. He got along well with another dog he came in with and spent a lot of time with him once here. Meet and greet required for homes already with a dog. Due to his inital fear of touch, we recommend a home without very young children.

Apply to adopt here:
https://sullivanspca.org/adopt/
