Yoshi's Story

Meet Yoshi – The Little Lion with a Big Personality!

Did you know that “Shih Tzu” means little lion? Yoshi may be tiny, but his personality roars with charm—and just a touch of drama. At 16 weeks old and almost 6 lbs, this purebred Shih Tzu is full of character, curiosity, and cuddles.

Yoshi is starting his very own zoo—one toy at a time! He proudly carries around stuffed giraffes, lions, ducks, and bears like a true collector. His love for food is just as strong, especially when shredded chicken is added to his Nulo Grain Free meals.

He’s a big fan of belly rubs and will instantly flop over to make sure you don’t miss your cue. Yoshi is also quite the alert pup—he’ll let out a little bark when he hears something new, then call in his giant Schnauzer foster sisters to handle the situation.

Despite being brushed and pampered, Yoshi always manages to look just a little grumpy—and it only adds to his charm!

He and his sister Mika enjoy cruising in their puppy stroller while they finish their vaccine series. Both are up to date on all vaccines, including rabies, and Yoshi is already neutered.

Yoshi came from an unexpected litter in a Texas border town. Our rescue, Operation Barking Squirrel, stepped in to help—and thanks to our supporters, we ensured both parents were spayed and neutered to prevent future litters.

Yoshi is looking for a forever home where he can be adored, spoiled, and continue growing his toy zoo. Could you be the one to help this little lion rule his new kingdom?

Adoption fee is $800. We are a very small rescue and Yoshi is considered a Heritage puppy. His fee helps us continue to rescue. 100 % of his fee goes towards medical and caring for new rescues.

If you would like to have this little lion in your home: https://form.jotform.com/242325376918160

Your adoption fee covers:

Adoption fee includes:
- [ ] All shots for age DHPP, Rabies, etc
- [ ] Flea/tick meds for 1st month
- [ ] Heartworm meds for 1st month
- [ ] Spay/Neuter
- [ ] Microchip with Lifetime Registration
- [ ] New dog bag with food, toys & blanket

- [ ] Puppies are wormed for tapeworms and all other worms very 3 weeks.
