MEET YOLO! STATS: 10 years old, spayed, American Staffy Mix, 71 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am the sweetest little chunkymonkey and I just want someone to spend my days lounging with. I would be the BEST companion for someone looking for a lower energy bestie that would be content to spend our days sitting on the couch watching TV, maybe laying in the cool grass outside for a little, and then coming back inside to where there is air conditioning. I cannot stress this enough – I am the PERFECT DOG for someone looking for a low energy companion. WHAT I LOVE: I love nothing more than being lazy with my people. My favorite physical activity is rolling on my back in the grass and whipping my body around like a fish. I really enjoy closeness with my human pals and I really just want someone to lay next to. KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my low key but playful, sweet personality would make me a good friend for kids that are respectful and kind towards me. OTHER DOGS: I would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but the good news is I would be all you need! CATS: Unknown HER MATCH: I am so worthy of a relaxing life, and I just want someone to spend that with. I might be 10 years old, but I am still youthful in my own way. I gladly go on walks and am extremely polite on leash. Sometimes when I need a break from walking, I flop on my back for some belly scratches, so I need someone willing to supply those. Really, I am just an incredibly sweet senior girl looking for someone to nap next to. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
