Yolandi's Story

At around 10 months old, Yolandi is a beautiful young Shiba Inu who is just beginning to learn what it means to be a dog in a loving home. She has had a very rough start in life. With little to no socialization or basic training, the world is still a big and sometimes confusing place for her.

Like many Shiba Inus, Yolandi is intelligent, independent, and has a naturally stubborn streak. Because of this, she will need an experienced dog owner or trainer who understands the breed and is committed to positive, consistent training. She’s still a puppy and has lots of potential, but she will thrive best with someone who enjoys a challenge and is excited to help her build confidence and skills.

Yolandi is a higher-energy dog and will benefit from regular exercise, mental enrichment, and structured routines. Due to her lack of early socialization, we recommend a home without young children, where she can continue learning at her own pace. With proper introductions, other dogs may be okay, but meet-and-greets are important to ensure a good match.

Yolandi isn’t a “plug-and-play” dog—but for the right person, she could become an incredibly rewarding companion. If you’re patient, experienced, and ready to help a young Shiba blossom into her best self, Yolandi may be the dog for you.

Apply on our website and the best applicants will be contacted.
