Yola (Blue Merle)

AGILITY OR PERFORMANCE HOME PREFERRED!! Dogs in rescue with CARE will ONLY be adopted into homes that use positive/motivational training techniques. Application, references, home check, contract required. Yola is a nine month old (maybe somewhat younger) aussie mix pup. She is housebroken, crate trained and gets along with other dogs and all people, men, women, children, etc. However, she will not be placed in a home with young children as she would likely bowl them over in her enthusiasm. She is still a big puppy that has had little training but is brilliant and has a TON of energy. She is very food motivated and has begun to learn about toys :) She can easily jump as high as the top of a door frame but has respected my four foot fence so far! She goes over the a-frame on her own, follows other dogs through a tunnel at lightening speed and has had a brief introduction to jumps. She needs a performance or otherwise VERY active home. Yola has a very nice temperment, is eager to learn and loves to please her person. Yola is currently about 19.5 inches at the withers and 35 lbs. She is dark tan and blue merle with some white markings, one ear stands up and the other tips down (i love that!) and she has beautiful amber eyes. Yola has a partial tail and was most likely born like that. She is really quite stunning. Her pictures don't do her justice - she is difficult to photograph as she rarely stops moving!! She is up to date on all vaccinations including lyme, is on heartworm preventative and is spayed. Yola was dumped in an urban area - best guess is that her former "owners" did not realize the mental and physical needs of this breed!!
