Yogurt's Story
Deaf-initely Delightfully Sweet

This gorgeous gal with the striking green eyes is Yogurt, a one-year-old sweetie with a perfect combination of playful; calm and gentle too.

Yogurt's heart shaped nose is a statement of her affection, both in giving and receiving love. She may start off a little cautious, taking her time to feel safe, but it doesn't take long before she's following you around, asking for attention and companionship. She may sometimes warm to both people and other dogs slowly initially, however with respectful patient introductions, she is learning that she can build both of those friendships too.

One of Yogurts unique traits is that she is deaf. She doesn't know any differently, but it does make her much more aware of her surroundings since she can't hear what's coming. She is an intense observer, has already learned a few hand signals and, thanks to her smarts and love of treats, has great potential to learn even more.

She gets so excited to get 'dressed' for walkies and is great on a leash, though she does love the comfort and freedom of a fenced yard, which will be required since it is important for her routine, and safety. Yogurt frequently goes on pup pack walks with friends and does well walking alongside other dogs, enjoying and often even preferring the company of other friendly dogs, as long as they allow her to engage at her pace.

Crate-trained and potty-trained, and at around 38 pounds, Yogurt is the perfect size for couch cuddles. Once she feels comfortable, her playful side shines through with joyful zoomies and invitations to play with trusted dog friends. She has not spent much time with children however if they are able to respect how they approach her, 12 years and older would be best. No kitties for Yogurt.

With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Yogurt will happily show you what an incredibly loyal and loving companion she is. She's ready for a home where she can continue to grow, feel safe, and enjoy being a treasured family member too.

Yogurt is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventives.
